Electrical engineer and computer scientist by training, specialised in AI and computer vision, then AI entrepreneur, management consultant, regional senior executive and AI investor.

Electrical engineer and computer scientist by training, with an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and a dissertation in AI and Computer Vision, Ugo co-founded a venture-backed AI speech-recognition startup in San Francisco and Belgium, then joined McKinsey & Company in the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. The seventeen years that followed took him to C-suite roles at LG Electronics and Royal Philips across the Middle East and Africa, leading regional strategy, go-to-market reinvention, new business building, the healthcare consulting practice and B2G growth.
